About Us- Outdoor Media Devices shall be allowed in the following areas :

  1. a. Short title, extent and commencement.- –
    • These rules may be called the Madhya Pradesh Outdoor Advertisement Media Rules, 2017”.
    • They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Madhya Pradesh Gazette.
    • These rules shall apply within the limits of all municipal corporations, municipalities and city councils.
  2. “advertisement” means any representation, word or abbreviation thereof, letter, sign, symbol, sign, model/map, painting, or other information representation, published or displayed to the public from any place on land, building, airspace, controlled water area and/or public place or public road, subject to the exclusion of direct access and displayed on outdoor media;
  3. “advertising” means the act or process of displaying an advertisement;
  4. “agency” means an applicant which may be an individual, registered charitable organisation, firm, partnership, etc. or a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956/2013;
  5. “approved” means the approval in writing by the competent authority having jurisdiction under these rules,
  6. "Appeal Committee" means the committee appointed under section 403 of the Madhya Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956 (No. 23 of 1956) or section 307 of the Madhya Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1961 (No. 37 of 1961),
